OVERVIEW & LEGAL HISTORY SUMMARY

Anthony Kwong Kong-kit (born 1992) is the elder brother of Alex Kwong Kong-chi and former brother-in-law of Abby Choi Tin-fung. Prior to the crime, Kwong worked as Choi's personal chauffeur and was a former business partner in a pancake stall venture. On February 21, 2023, Kwong picked up Choi at her Kadoorie Hill residence under the guise of driving her to collect her daughter from school. Instead, he drove her to an unfurnished village house in Tai Po's Lung Mei Village, where she was fatally struck and dismembered. Hong Kong police arrested Kwong on February 24, 2023, after tracking vehicle GPS telematics and surveillance camera footage. He was jointly indicted alongside his father and brother on charges of murder and preventing the lawful burial of a body. On September 24, 2026, Kwong pleaded guilty to preventing the lawful burial of Choi's corpse but maintained his plea of not guilty to murder.
