Abby Choi Tin-fung (July 15, 1994 – February 21, 2023) was a prominent 28-year-old Hong Kong fashion model, influencer, and socialite with a net worth of approximately HK$300 million. She was a mother of four children, sharing two with ex-husband Alex Kwong Kong-chi and two with partner Chris Tam Fong-chun. On February 21, 2023, Choi disappeared after being picked up by her chauffeur, Anthony Kwong Kong-kit. Three days later, police discovered her dismembered remains inside an unfurnished village house in Tai Po's Lung Mei Village. Her legs were hidden in a refrigerator, while her skull and ribs were recovered from a large soup pot. Forensic analysis established cause of death as a fatal impact blow to the skull. Her murder triggered widespread international media coverage and resulted in the prosecution of seven individuals. Her funeral took place on June 18, 2023. Her mother subsequently obtained a court injunction prohibiting Kwong Kau from dealing in the HK$72.8 million Kadoorie Hill property that sparked the tragic financial dispute.
